We are excited to have Jarek Suchowiecki join the PGM Team for the opening round of the Toyo Tyres British Rallycross Championship at Silverstone on Sunday.
Suchowiecki was due to make the start in his S1600 Citroen C2, however disappointedly, delays with the new build have meant his car is not ready for the season opener, so instead he will take to the track in one of the PGM Swifts. to at least try to salvage some point to at least start his championship campaign ahead of when his car should be ready for the Lydden Round.
"We know how disappointing it can be when builds take longer than anticipated and it would be a shame for Jarek's title chase to be over before he has even begun so we have managed to sort him a car so at least he can get out and compete." comments Peter Gwynne.
"Unfortunately due to the short notice we have not been able to do any mods to the car to increase the power other than running one of our updated ECU's, although it is one of our Rally spec Swifts so will run a dogbox, hopefully he can salvage some valuable points to help get his season started"
Suchowiecki is aiming for his car to be completed for the second round of the championship at Lydden Hill on Bank Holiday Monday, 22nd April 2019.
